Break Rules
Ghost Crew Breaks is a live trading card breaking service operated by GhostCrew Cards. Sealed trading card products are opened on stream and cards are distributed according to the break format listed on the specific break page. By purchasing a spot in any break, you agree to these Break Rules, the Terms of Service, and any break-specific notes shown in the applicable listing.
1. What You Are Purchasing
When you purchase a spot in a Ghost Crew Breaks break, you are purchasing entry into a live trading card break event and the right to receive the cards assigned to your purchased position according to the format of that break.
You are not purchasing:
- –a guaranteed card
- –a guaranteed hit
- –a guaranteed team
- –a guaranteed player
- –a guaranteed character
- –a guaranteed serial number or digit
- –a guaranteed sealed box outcome
All sealed products opened in a break contain unknown contents at the time of purchase. Card distribution is determined by the manufacturer and the contents of the sealed product, not by Ghost Crew Breaks.
2. Break Formats
Breaks may be offered in various formats, including but not limited to:
- –Pick Your Team
- –Random Teams
- –Random Spots
- –Serial Number / Digit Breaks
- –Character-Based Breaks
- –Other specialty formats described in the listing
The specific format and assignment method for each break will be shown on that break’s page. If a format-specific rule conflicts with a general rule on this page, the break-specific listing details will control to the extent of that format.
3. Randomization
For breaks involving random assignment of teams, spots, digits, character groups, or other positions, randomization will be conducted live using a verifiable randomization method.
Randomization results are final once completed and verified.
Once randomization has occurred:
- –all sales are final
- –no cancellations are allowed
- –no refunds are allowed except where required by law
- –no credits or transfers are required to be provided
- –chargebacks or payment disputes on the basis of dissatisfaction with assignment are prohibited and may result in account suspension or refusal of future service, subject to applicable law
4. All Cards Ship
Ghost Crew Breaks operates under an All Cards Ship policy unless a specific break listing clearly states otherwise.
All cards pulled that belong to your assigned team, player group, character group, spot, or digit will ship to you.
If your assigned position receives no cards, Ghost Crew Breaks may send a courtesy package at its discretion. Courtesy packages are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in the listing.
5. Shipping
Domestic shipping terms, turnaround expectations, and any special shipping notes are described in the Shipping Policy and may also be supplemented on the break listing.
Shipping timing may vary based on break volume, sorting time, holidays, product volume, and other operational factors.
International orders may require additional shipping charges, customs handling, or destination-specific adjustments.
6. Product Condition / Manufacturer Defects
Ghost Crew Breaks is not responsible for manufacturer defects or production-related issues, including but not limited to:
- –print lines
- –surface scratches
- –dimples
- –corner wear from pack-out
- –off-centering
- –chipping
- –roller marks
- –factory damage
- –collation issues
- –missing hits
- –damaged seals from the manufacturer or distributor if still deemed sellable/openable in the ordinary course
Ghost Crew Breaks does not guarantee gem mint condition, grading outcomes, or the presence of any specific inserts, parallels, autographs, case hits, or chase cards.
7. Multi-Player / Multi-Team / Multi-Character Cards
Cards featuring more than one player, team, or character will be assigned according to the rules below unless the break listing states otherwise.
Non-numbered multi-subject cards:
- –may be awarded by a predefined house rule such as top/left or another format-specific method disclosed in the listing
Numbered multi-subject cards, short prints, case hits, and similarly significant cards:
- –may be randomized among the applicable eligible spots
- –each participant will receive entries based on the number of eligible positions they own, where applicable
If the product or format uses character groups, franchises, teams, or other categories, Ghost Crew Breaks may apply the same principles fairly based on the listed structure of that break.
8. Points, Wildcards, and Unassigned Content
If a card, points card, redemption, bonus item, or other piece of content is pulled that is not clearly associated with a single purchased position, Ghost Crew Breaks may assign it by:
- –the team/player/character shown on the card
- –the manufacturer checklist/category
- –a disclosed house rule
- –randomization among eligible participants
The method used will be determined in good faith and, where possible, consistent with the break format.
9. Redemptions
Redemption cards will be assigned to the purchased position associated with the player, team, character, or category indicated on the card.
Ghost Crew Breaks is not responsible for:
- –manufacturer redemption fulfillment times
- –expired redemptions
- –substitutions made by manufacturers
- –redemption damage, delays, or non-fulfillment by the card manufacturer
10. Retired Players, Legacy Teams, and Special Cases
Cards featuring retired players, historical teams, unaffiliated players, college uniforms, international uniforms, fictional affiliations, or otherwise unclear assignments will be awarded using the following priority where applicable:
- 1.The team, franchise, character group, or category explicitly named on the card
- 2.The current or most relevant professional team/franchise/category associated with that subject
- 3.A format-specific assignment rule disclosed in the break listing
- 4.Randomization among eligible spots when no fair direct assignment can be determined
Ghost Crew Breaks reserves the right to make a fair final determination in edge cases.
11. Character-Based and Franchise-Based Breaks
For Star Wars and other non-sports products, cards may be assigned based on:
- –named character
- –faction
- –group
- –show/movie/series
- –franchise category
- –other listed break structure
If a card does not cleanly fit a listed category, Ghost Crew Breaks will make a reasonable assignment based on the checklist, packaging, card labeling, franchise context, or a disclosed house rule.
12. Bounties, Promotions, Credits, and Bonuses
From time to time, Ghost Crew Breaks may offer bounty prizes, bonuses, promotional credits, giveaways, or similar incentives. Unless otherwise stated on the specific break page:
- –such promotions are discretionary
- –may be modified or discontinued
- –may have separate eligibility rules
- –are void where prohibited
- –do not change the underlying nature of the break purchase
If a bounty or promotion applies to a break, the applicable rules will be disclosed on that break page or in an associated promotional rules section.
13. Break Schedule / Replay Availability
Break start times are estimates unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Breaks may run earlier or later than expected based on stream pace, technical issues, sellout timing, operational delays, or other scheduling factors.
Ghost Crew Breaks will make reasonable efforts to provide replay access but does not guarantee indefinite hosting or platform availability.
14. Cancellations and Operational Issues
Ghost Crew Breaks reserves the right to postpone, combine, reschedule, or cancel a break before randomization due to:
- –insufficient fill
- –product unavailability
- –shipping delays
- –platform or technical issues
- –safety or fraud concerns
- –pricing or listing errors
- –other operational issues
If a break is canceled before randomization and not otherwise fulfilled, the affected order may be refunded, credited, or otherwise handled in Ghost Crew Breaks’ discretion, subject to applicable law.
15. Conduct, Fraud Prevention, and Refusal of Service
Ghost Crew Breaks reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders before randomization, limit purchases, suspend accounts, or restrict participation in cases involving:
- –fraud concerns or payment disputes
- –abusive behavior or harassment
- –manipulation of the platform
- –attempted exploitation of listing or pricing errors
- –other behavior that harms the business or community
16. Final Decision / House Rules
Not every possible situation can be anticipated in advance. In rare cases not fully covered by these rules or the break listing, Ghost Crew Breaks may make a final decision in good faith based on fairness, consistency, product context, and the integrity of the break.
17. Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to purchase break spots on Ghost Crew Breaks.
18. No Manufacturer Affiliation
